That no one thinks is a scandal except for the far Right.

He didn't lie for 12 days. He and others repeatedly called it an act of terror. Granted, he didn't call it terrorism. But it isn't like that word is some magical talisman.

Now true, he was sending mixed messages. But the intel by the CIA was unclear. That has been established. It may be that some of that was deliberate on the part of the CIA. Turns out, Issa outed the fact that the annex was, in fact, a CIA outpost when he was doing his witch hu, urr "investigation". They may have wanted a chance to clean it up first.

But, what if he deliberately lied? What would that have gotten him? And why would it be important to label it terrorism before they are sure?
