Was he responsible for all of it? No. It was decades in the making starting with the Reagan administration. But he certainly made sure it would happen when it did and got as bad as it did. We almost had a global meltdown that would have dwarfed the Great Depression. Even at its worse, international trade never got hit as hard as it did during the Bush Recession. We just barely dodged a very big bullet.
