For the record, I have a speculative position in RIM. Just 4 years ago, RIM and Nokia owned the smart phone market. Given the next generation "platform wide" smart phones RIM and Nokia have just built, I don't see any reason why they can't be back on top in 4 years or less, only with a global smart phone market in the billions of users. Who knows, but maybe RIM will make new highs in a few years? Something we know for sure, is that Android and especially iOS are getting very long in the tooth.
