A liberal bias is not the same thing as being an arm of the DNC. Far from it. Speaking truth to centralized self-serving power has a "liberal" bias. Whether the targets are Big Government, Big Religion, or too big and powerful "Corporations"... Actually our damned U.S. Constitution (overall, not just the second amendment) and the Declaration of Independence were written with a LIBERAL BIAS and standing up to right wing powers.

MSNBC does not present its editorial programming as "fair and balanced" NEWS. From Joe Scarborough to Rachel Maddow.

MSNBC aggressively fact checks; News AND the pundit shows.

There is no Roger Ales counterpart at MSNBC, who proposed GOP TV during the Nixon Administration.

BTW, Comcast owns NBC, hardly known for liberal bias.

The right wing has a lot to gain, propaganda and brand wise, by creating a false equivalency between FoxNews and MSNBC. That dog don't hunt IMHO. There is no equivalency between vitriolic propaganda slickly packaged as news, and entertaining political analysis and/or humorism. That would also include Viacom's Colbert and The Daily show.
