HTC Announces Windows Phone 8X And 8S In India November 3, 2012 \| By Pradeep wmpoweruser.com In a regional press conference held in Singapore today, HTC has announced the release of 8X and 8S Windows Phone 8 devices for India. HTC 8X will cost Rs 35,023 and the HTC 8S will cost Rs 19,260. Windows Phone 8X comes with 4.3-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display, 8MP CMOS sensor with backside-illumination (BSI) with a dedicated imaging chip, a 2.1MP with f/2.0 aperture, 88 degree ultra-wide angle lens front camera and Beats Audio technology. Windows Phone 8S comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) Super LCD display, 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, 4GB internal memory expandable memory with microSD and a 1,700 mAh battery. Both the devices will be on sale from next week in most of the retail stores in India.
