I think another recession caused by the cliff, and even fewer working and paying taxes and even more collecting food stamps, medicaid, disability and those costs, will more than offset tax increases on a diminishing pool of workers/suckers. Capital flight is coming. No society can long endure when only 40% of people produce anything at all. Wait til that slips to 30%, 25%. Then what. Everybody that works a job or has income has to pay an 80% tax rate? Short stocks, short often. Buy puts, buy puts often. Wish I could short the Federal Government or buy puts on it.
