This is the worst widespread disaster this city has ever seen and it's being handled just fine. FEMA, the Governor (whom I really don't like), and the Mayor (also whom I really don't like) are all doing a great job. It's not perfect, but it's also unprecedented. I had drinks with two FEMA agents on Friday night and they knew exactly what they were supposed to be doing. It's not a scattered deal at all, aside from the fact that it's tough for them to get hotel rooms here. Don't fool yourself. You may not like Obama on other things, and I definitely dislike Cuomo and Bloomberg, but at every turn, this City is doing better than I expected. -Z
