Like he says he did not say let the auto companies go bankrupt. He did say that. On the front page of the NY times.
Exactly wrong.

The headline writer for the New York Times added that as the headline for Romney's last ever op-ed for the NY Times.

Romney did not use the phrase “Let Detroit go bankrupt” in his 2008 New York Times op-ed on the auto bailout.
While it’s true that The New York Times selected the title “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt” for Romney’s 2008 op-ed,
