Posted this to Dale, Mike(have quit watching the game) Maybe Eagles will outbid for Peyton? i guarantee Lurie tonight has decided The Reid 12 years term is over done finished. He as lost the team. When a a caching staff loses a team it becomes in ugly unravel--like with Phillips and Dallas two years
ago.
Injuries to OL no excuse as he dumped a center/guard and a right tackle that are now starters for Colts and replaced them with non-NFL Offensive llinemen( meaning they are Over Their head/Overmatched--in other words horrendous evaluation by Reid--those players are now starters because Reid has nothing else and the OL of Eagles the worst OL in the NFL. Now he has got to replace Vick with Foles, and Foles will be 6'7" rookie with NO PROTECTION.
The defense fell into a catastrophe under Castillo's lead---any old footballers know if a team becomes unhappy with the coaching staff, they bring that to field--why? Because you have to have the fire inside alive, players can NOT fake the fire has dimmed.
Dallas will embarrass Eagles next week.
i don't fear for Eagles having a strong reound next year EXCEPT for can Foles recover from having to play behind a pathetic OL---well Aikman did his rookie year as Dallas Cowboy line Aikman's first year possibly as bad as Eagles OL now(Eagles sacked Aikman 12 times!!!! in one game his first year)
The new coaching staff for Eagles have got to be first rate---i favor there signing Bill O'Brien from PennState--he has done an incredible job there(6-3, for a team that had 7 of their best leave the team).
Bill O'Brien was Belichek's offensive co-ordinator and i see as perfect fit for Eagles.
i would favor O'brien over Peyton. for Eagles. Max
p.s. Dale, if Cowboys can't beat Eagles next week, Cowboy season is over as the Eagles are a BROKEN TEAM.
