Jim... Re: Gold price... Remember when the Swiss announced that they would have to be selling gold in the early part of November? When they made that announcement, I thought that would be the stupidist thing any government official could do. Yeah right. I've got a couple tons of gold that I'm gonna lay out into the market and I'm gonna tell the whole world that I'm gonna do it. ESPECIALLY before I do it....DUH!!!!! Lo and behold, then we get the Auzzies saying the same thing a couple of days later, and then we get one of the Asians (at least I think it was an Asian country) saying it too!!!! I'm sitting here saying to myself what the 'ell is going on here??? All these country's are announcing that they are going to be selling gold. Why the 'ell would I buy it here (I think the price was around 310 - 315.00 US at the time). I'll wait until it drops even further. (Well I guess I was right. It didn't take a genius to figure that one out 'cause obviously the price came down...) Then I'm sitting here still wondering why these country's would do something that dumb... Might as well tak a gun and shoot yerself in the foot and then tell the world that you did it with a smile. Then I says to myself. SHORT!!!! What a better way to get money into the country kitty. Short the stuff ... Tell everybody that your gonna haveta sell, to cover the value of your currency, buy the stuff back when it's cheaper (sumptin's gotta cover the value of the buck) and keep the spread in between. Voila!!! Our asses are covered... There's money in the kitty... We got our gold back... Our bucks is covered... And everything is peach keen... Then around the middle of November this fellow comes out with this... biz.yahoo.com I read this and I say to myself... Ima genius...<vbg> ...ed ps: The only problem is nobody but me knows it... another <very big grin>
