My Verizon contract iPhone 4 runs out early next year. I'm thinking about going cold turkey. Since retirement, I just don't travel enough. If you like and are married to W8, then by all means match it up. I'm sure the ecosystem value is greater than any value due to greater maturity. It is how Apple is keeping those loyalty numbers high.
