This "smart" guy sounds very similar to a Frederick Smart that used to post on Prodigy. He was great at Monday morning quarterbacking and as I vaguely recall not so great at prognosticating. Eventually he was he was attempting to solicit for a newsletter he was generating. If this isn't him then great but "caveat emptor" to everyone just the same!
