Got to survey my friend's beach house yesterday in Fairfield, CT. Sandy did a bit of remodeling on it, along with the neighbors:

My friend's house. Note the unobstructed ocean views from the kitchen.


This is the house two doors down. It was three stories tall.


Here is the foundation of where the house three doors down used to stand. The fireplace belongs to the house above.
