Maybe Republicans should try running a Conservative. In a year in which the incumbent was so hated that anyone could win Republicans managed to lose by running a New England liberal. Four years ago they lost with a war hero liberal. Republicans don't get excited to vote for a liberal. Obama needed to be defeated. In the end Romney thought his winning the first debate was enough. It was not enough to look and act Presidential after a single win. And then Sandy came and swept more than the democrat controlled upper Eastern seaboard away. Sandy swept away the chance America had to redeem herself. Blame it on the weather.
