Two separate functional apps IMHO. Apples and oranges.

If Siri had the speed of Google Voice, I would use it quite a bit more. It just feels so slow that it quickly becomes frustrating, particularly if the accuracy is off.

I will say that I am very happy to see that Apple allowed Google Voice and I hope they also approve Google Maps. While displacing them from an installed spot is one thing, Apple needs to continue to offer the best of breed apps. It is great if that comes from Apple, but if not, let the market decide. The platform as a whole benefits and software really is a means to sell the hardware for Apple.
