No, these Tweets and more were not written by a six-year-old at Jesus Camp. They were written by Donald Trump -- a billionaire, the chairman and CEO of The Trump Organization, the host of NBC's 'The Celebrity Apprentice', and a man who extensively, and publicly, flirted with the idea of running for President.
As if we didn't know he was a Grade-A moron already.
Trump's animosity towards President Obama has been well-documented, but in four years, the Don has failed to demonstrate an understanding of anything political beyond scandal and conspiracy theories.
Trump was the only high-profile voice of the so-called "Birther" movement -- the refusal by (mostly dumb and bigoted) Tea Party Republicans to accept President Obama's birth certificate as legitimate.
After Obama released his birth certificate in its long form, Trump instead began demanding to see Obama's college transcripts, allegedly because he'd "heard rumors" that Obama was a poor student.
Most recently (and most laughably), Trump promised a huge, potentially game-changing October announcement, which turned out to be a five million dollar offer for Obama's college transcripts and passport applications, an "announcement" that was near-universally ridiculed across the spectrum.
Trump also recently became a subject of intense criticism because, in the wake if Hurricane Sandy, all the billionaire Trump offered was a twenty-four hour extension on the deadline for his deal.
Trump's Twitter tantrum continued with multiple pleas for the House of Representatives to continue to maintain partisan gridlock.
"Hopefully the House of Representatives can hold our country together for four more years...stay strong and never give up!"
Trump later Tweeted that the House of Representatives should not concede anything to Obama "unless he terminates Obamacare."
Mercifully, however, House Speaker John Boehner is a man who has matured, mentally and emotionally, beyond the age of nine.
Though he refused to acknowledge the election as a rejection of Tea Party extremism, Boehner did pledge to work "with any willing partner."
NBC used to be the network for smart people, with smart television like 'Dateline,' 'Law & Order' and 'ER'.
It makes you wonder how a moron like Trump got involved with them.
