It tells me that the republican ground game was inadequate and that the enthusiasm gap was a myth.

But here is the part that mystifies me. Gallup, Pew and Rasmussen all pegged the enthusiasm gap as real and predicted an electorate where Republicans would outnumber Democrats. They had a good track record in predicting the electorate. But the actual electorate was D+6. They were miles off, far worse than they ever were in previous cycles.

It's as if the Democrats managed to kidnap all their discouraged voters and drag them to the polls.
