Dan and I got such a kick out of your story. That was so funny about Patrick. Ammo used to do that with the icicles. He would crawl under the tree with them and hang them all from one branch,singing to himself. (He was almost kicked out of kindergarten for humming constantly-said he couldn't help it. He was happy. How could any teacher punish a kid for that?) One day I crawled under the tree and lay looking up and you know what? There was this little forest of icicles catching the tree lights and it was really very special. I guess we don't always understand what they are seeing. I have to remind myself of that a lot.
