milton friedman went to china, the chinese were bragging to him about the rail system they were building, all the workers were using shovels, he told the chinese why not use bulldozers in stead of shovels, the chineses said look at all the jobs we are creating, Friedman said why don't you give them spoons and you will create more jobs but the rail system would create wealth which would raise all citizens up
