How funny. I was just posting about tent spreading. I do think most of the republicans aren't ready for that, though. There's a lot of xenophobia (and not a little paranoia) sloshing around on the right at this moment. Maybe when things settle down, and they realize the sky is not falling, the few cool heads they have can try to wrest the party away from the nuts who guided it to two serious presidential defeats. On the other hand, if they continue to screw up, I won't be crying :-)
