In retrospect, Romney lost because the GOP insists on taking a hard line on social issues. These positions are now rejected by all but white people over 40. Its only going to get worse for them unless they go more moderate. The younger generations are in control now officially and they reject what they see as hate directed toward other citizens. I think fiscal issues, support of individual liberty and free enterprise should be the focus of the GOP going forward. In other words become Libertarian, but support the military. Let the rest go or face extinction. jmho.
