just to illustrate ONE of the problems Conservatives have winning elections. I've been trying to no avail to convert my two closest friends to conservatism. Both have moonbat liberal (in the Warren mold) wives. There is not a nickel worth of common sense between the two but both dominate their husbands to the extent of determining who they vote for. One is a librarian who drives a Prius. (can't get farther left than that). They adopted two ( I believe Korean) infants about 25 years ago. The elder girl (now about 28) just completed a 5 year NO DEGREE program at a local college. She works part time tending bar and has hooked up with a semi pro ball player that just got busted selling dope. She lives at home. The younger boy (about 26) somehow got diagnosed with some kind of learning disability and is partially on the govt. dole. He also works part time and spends the rest playing video games and watching the military channel on cable. He and his buddy liken themselves to that Harold and Kumar duo from the movies all the way down to the White Castle fetish. He also lives at home and has hair down below his shoulders. Did these two benefit by getting adopted by American parents? I think not. So.....there's 4 votes for Obama. The other wife fancies herself as a painter and says a Prius will be their next car. She also runs my friend's entire life including his vote. They have 3 kids. One is a bull dyke and more outspoken a liberal than her mother. The second daughter is a nutritionist who thinks it's just great for the govt. to specify kids lunch. I have not met the son, but he may actually be a Republican. So that's 8 out of 9 votes for Obama.
