Since I have several brokerage accounts, not all accounts may generate a gainskeeper-consistent format, how would gainskeeper handle that issue. Also, did you find that you have to massage the trade data at all or does gainskeeper eliminate any manual correction of insufficient or unavailable data? I use turbotax in the past and there is a moderate amount of cumbersome manual input/corrections when processing the trades downloadecd directly from IB (especially so with shorting options trades) even when one used the IB generated a turbax-compatible format. Have you ever used taxcut or turbotax to directly reconcile the trades and is it much easier with gainskeeper generating a pre-processed trade data file first.
