Glad to hear you didn't have someone in mind that could have won but Romney. I too think they should have gone to all the states wherever possible.
I personally think Romney and Ryan and their families gave it everything they had. We were just beat by superior BS artists, both on the WH Staff, the Dem Campaign, and of course, the Left leaning media. **
--I think we should have much shorter time for the primaries.....we were forced to endure them for more than a year. TOO much, even for political junkies, and for the "winner" who will go on to be the Repub nominee, it just has to be exhausting.
--We allow too much money to be spent and too many negative lies to be told.
--We also currently allow anyone/any group to broadcast anything, not matter how false it might be. I think that's wrong.
--Maybe 3 months for the primaries so Americans can meet the candidates.
--For the two finalists, Sept to Nov is PLENTY of time.
--We should insist that any media be prepared to back up what they say, or their writers say, with specific quotes, or articles noted where a person actually said or did what is being reputed they have said.
--We have some laws against slander, but that doesn't seem to apply to media folks. IT SHOULD APPLY!!!
--I do agree that the Tea Party folks should have been able to be represented at the Primaries and the Convention! While I'm not for Sarah Palin (at least at this time) to be a candidate for President or Vice President, she should at at a minimum have been assigned a spot at the Convention.
--Let the media make something of that if they wish....at their peril. We need to start telling the Alphabet Soup media we are sick of them lying to us....and having dipsticks like Chris Mathews on the air. If they continue, we should find out the sponsors, and actively boycot them.
**Brent Bozell said tonight on Hannity that the Media had contributed HEAVILY towards Obama's re-election,. I have to see what that meant later.
