I see Bachman won, but only by 3000 votes. I really don't understand why someone would want to vote for someone that was SO fanatical that they are essentially IGNORED by the governing body you are electing them to. It's like getting no real representation for your vote.

I was very happy to see Mourdock and Akin get beat. In this country you can have any religious belief you want, but that doesn't mean you should be allowed to make everybody else follow the precepts of YOUR religion. That's exactly what the Taliban does and what the Christian Church did in Spain during the Inquisition.

Also, it appears Allen West lost his seat in the House. But, of course he has REFUSED to concede....LOL

But, I also believe there are "Wingnuts" on BOTH sides. I think government is way too big and government salaries and benefits are way too high. I think there are too many people on medicaid. I've seen a lot of people in much better shape than I am that are on full Social Security Disability. The military throws away money like confetti. Retired Generals DEMAND $300 an hour to "advise". Our Post Office can't stop delivering on Saturday or close little branches because it might offend some people in somebody's district. It goes on and on and we JUST CAN'T AFFORD IT ANYMORE!!!!!
