"Conservatives nowadays aren't very good with reality. Normally they can get away with this (believing Obama is a Muslim or wasn't born in the US, or that global warming is some kind of gigantic communist conspiracy, for instance) because they are immune to scientific facts and let emotion drive their thinking.
