Yea, this "big suprise" (the Romney loss) thing is simply an example of the bubble many Rwingers live in... they truly cant believe there is a different opinion out there than their own. One of my favorites was that the polls were all BS and simply some kind of propoganda??? Ummm, so that would assume people would simply want to vote with the winner... or?? Really dumb stuff. You know IMHO it took a "perfect storm" (no Sandy pun intended) for Obama to win.... the perfect storm as a confluence of MANY smaller storms meeting at once. The confluence was viewed as Romney's candidacy and the smaller storms had names of which I'll list a few: * tax breaks for wealthy * tax cheating for himself (Caymens) * no abortion even if raped * sabre rattling towards Syria and Iran (while being critical of getting rid of Kadafi, made no sense) * Blaming Obama for Arab spring (unwilingness to say that was BS) * This might be # 1: Embracing the "ship 12 million illegals back home" crowd- REALLY dump and ignorant of the actual facts... ask Rick Perry and John McCain about THAT. For example... where was Hannity BEFORE the election on this?? news.yahoo.com * Unwillingness to distance himself from all the other BS that pundits and ACTUAL ELECTED REPUBLICANS flung at Obama * Unwillingness to distance himself from birthers and TRUMP (this may be a shock... but for educated people in the know, Trump has long been viewed as not only an unscrupulous liar, but also boarder line criminal). * Staying with every wacko platform issue even after his nomination. * All the baggage of endless flipflops throughout his career. Romney was simply unelectable from the beginning and all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put Romney back together again! DAK
