Though he took an oath Actually he never did. The words were bungled on the Capitol steps. Roberts did a do-over in the WH but there wasn't a Bible. He never took a legitimate Oath and he knows it and is exploiting it. It's his out, if he is ever caught. That's what he will say as a defense at his own Nurenburg trial.
