GenRad's Mitron Subsidiary is Selected by Jabil Circuit, Inc. for Worldwide Electronics Manufacturing Solution
Jabil Standardizes On CIMBridge '97 For Mixed-Vendor PCB Assembly Line Optimization
WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1997-- Mitron, a subsidiary of GenRad, Inc. (NYSE:GEN - news), today announced a purchase order from Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NASDAQ:JBIL - news). Under the terms of the agreement, Mitron will provide Jabil with CIMBridge '97 line optimization software to be deployed globally by Jabil throughout their automated manufacturing facilities in Florida, Michigan, Mexico, Scotland and Malaysia. Software product shipments are anticipated to begin in the fourth quarter of calendar 1997.
