What's totally wrong is my ASSUMPTION of what your premise is, instead of my asking you what the premise is.

I substituted/used my wife's premise that "If Democrats have to lie and cheat, their message is not that popular and their numbers may not be so large as we think".

This election shows (IMO) that the numbers that they have are more than enough, and the message of "Come and get yours" is what their voters want to hear.

The fraud just makes the numbers overwhelming, and that's what they want us to think right now, along with the help of the press, to demoralize all of us.

They seem to be succeeding for the most part in the short term.
