What an understatement! Immediately following the election, I resolved one of my issues going forward, no more FOX. No FOX TV (Blocked) & no FOX satellite radio. Next issue on my plate, how exactly to hand the unavoidable cuts in my discretionary spending for '13 based on the new 3.8% tax on Financial transactions & the upcoming change (% INCREASE) in tax on Capital Gains, etc. The clear change for those retired w/o a lavish pension. A need to cut discretionary spending. I hope the numerous Charities in America are aware of the likely cut in donations from those over 65 that will feel a greater impact on this taxing of savings which are held more by those approaching 65 than by those under 35. Please, not Google # to defend or argue. One time post as this is my 1ST & likely only visit to this MB.
In closing, I made my share, saved & I live off my Investments which now involves these taxable financial transactions. All part of my new found status as a minority! Clear change but for me, little hope. America has changed & it is more than her demographics that have changed.
