It was a speech accepting the control of the free world. I don't want my leader being perceived as "reliant" on another powerful leader, regardless of my support for that other leader. It was a savvy move by the big dog to let us know we only have one President, IMO.
John Kerry's name keeps getting thrown around as the Clinton replacement but does he leave his senate role for that? I don't think so. I think he could be a CIA Director candidate. As for Hilary, yes she is tired but she is in the upper circle of power and that, I imagine, is hard to let go of.
