The Jeep ad was borderline, but was was not a lie. In fact, one so-called "fact check" organization went so far as to give it 4 Pinnochios while stating that the ad was technically, well, correct.
But even this, the nastiest of the Romney ads, was in response to an absurd ad by Obama saying, "Romney wanted to let the automakers go bankrupt" -- which is precisely what OBAMA did (worse, the quote used wasn't Romney's at all, but was that of the newspaper that published his op-ed).
The "You didn't build that" comment was Obama's, taken IN context, and restating precisely his view. And, to his credit, Obama was able to convince parasites to vote for him in spite of it.
The evidence is overwhelming that Romney did work well with the legislators in MA, and it was overwhelmingly run by the opposite party.
The Obama lies were frequent and horrible -- from "Romney is responsible for my wife's death" to the "felon" lie put forth by the DNC and Reid's lies about Romney not paying taxes to the claim by the campaign that Romney would tax the middle class. There were lies claiming Romney had outsourced jobs to China when in fact he didn't. There were numerous lies about his tenure at Bain Capital, and in fact, the demonization of Bain Capital was key to Obama's win. Even though Clinton himself called Romney's business career "sterling".
Obama's campaign was worse than 1800 by a mile. |
