S+P is probably one to two weeks away from a significant, short term low. Could possibly take longer, up to 5 more weeks of grinding lower but l would say the odds are only about 33% on the longer scenario.

S+P may have made this short term cycle low on Friday but I think we'll see one more move lower in the next few days.

The fiscal cliff is the only real factor, imo, holding the market down. Not that the market should be soaring higher but grinding up. Keep in mind that last time Congress held the country hostage with the debt ceiling, that extended the S+P's decline into a third month. Most S+P declines are right around 2 months long, give or take 2 weeks.
