The problem with the global warming movement is that it is built upon several different fallacies. Or at least unsubstantiated opinions.

I've got no problem with the idea that seeding the ocean with iron might increase phytoplankton population.

But let's bust one comment right at the top.

My background is National Security policy and International Affairs, which Global Warming certainly falls under. It is both an international issue, as well as a national security threat... if it is found to be credible.
There is a lot of speculation that global warming is inherently bad. And yet, the greatest advances in human culture have been during warming periods. Maybe there are some perceived "bad" side effects, but it can certainly be argued that the good outweighs the bad.
