Also interesting- our local TV outlet had a grpn news article that was basically free advertising which discussed GRPN's new holiday book, toy book, and free shipping. Also as I was checking out GRPN's MacCallum house deal I noticed they now have a scheduler- so when you buy your deal you also schedule it at the same time. That's a very nice development- and will make it much easier for the hoteliers who won't get an onslaught of people on the phone, tying up their business phones and all trying for the same premium days- nor will people buy deals they later need to get refunds on. They'll know from the purchase date what the dates are for their deal. Great improvement. And so far Amazon, Google, and Living Social don't seem to have anything like this.
