Way back then I was standing in line for Windows 95 and Windows 98, but never again. I am slow to upgrade to any new OS now, because it meant new updated software and the stuff I run adds up to around $2000+ dollars to update.

Windows XP is still running on my AMD box, it's over 7 years old and runs well, but will NOT run any of my video editing projects. In HD video, the computer can NOT do it.

I have Windows 7 on my notebook and it. I can't see me updating to another new OS anytime soon.

If I ever custom built a new box, re-using my Lian Li all aluminum black case, it would be Windows 7 Pro. Don't have time to learn a new OS, Windows 7 will be here for many years to come, end of extended support is January 14, 2020.
