I have been hibernating and felt you guys were too so was not much in the posting mood but I was checking this board for signs of life while I was at my battle station. We had about a 7.75% (S&P 1358) correction so far. Put a little money to work but still greater than 50% cash and bonds. I am in second place on my leader board and gaining pretty quickly on Bruce and once again beating the market by more than 10%. Back in MBI with yesterdays sell off, also bought PWE when I learned insiders were buying low 10s and even started buying MRVL again now that it is @ its lows again. MRVL reports tomorrow last 2 times they reported the stock got slaughter if we get a repeat I most likely will add if it goes the other way I will take profits. I also bought LUK on there sell off happy times. If JEF falls another few percent I will be doing a little arbitrage. It has not been good to be long on most names this year at least the names I follow. Selling the bounces has been rewarding. Every name in my current portfolio trades below book beside Fairfax which is very close I am getting excited and it has only been a 7% or so correction. Oh yea did you notice Bruce has Imperial Medals in his smaller fund I dont recall it being a holding there.
