Enjoy lunch for five at a top restaurant in either Los Angeles or New York City (buyer's preference) with Daniel Loeb, founder and CEO of Third Point LLC.

Loeb started Third Point - named after Malibu’s famed surf break - in 1995 with $3M in assets. Loeb’s event-driven approach to investing has generated net annualized returns of 21% since inception and today he manages over $9B in assets for institutional and individual investors. Loeb is well-known for his occasional activist investments, where he demands companies make changes to benefit shareholders.

He is an avid contemporary art collector and a self-described “health nut” who has completed marathons and triathalons, Loeb practices Ashtanga yoga and remains a passionate surfer. He is devoted to education reform, serving as the Chairman of three Brooklyn charter schools and as a Founder of Students First New York.

Given his keen insights on a wide variety of topics, a lunch with Dan promises to be an interesting and exciting opportunity to break bread with an investing luminary.
