I see.. I think, if you are correct about their being nothing but air below for the SPX, to continue the short ETFs..

I really hate doing it myself, but one has to make money whatever way we can until support is reaffirmed in the markets. And I fear that may not occur until some much lower levels are realized..

Again, tax increases in this market environment mean that traders and investors have to make that much more "Alpha" in order to make a profit, and pay the taxes on it.. And at these lofty levels, facing a fiscal cliff, or at least severe deficit reduction, that's not going to be easy..

But I'm going to stick with the RUT, it being more vulnerable to downside risk, especially since their companies have less international "shelter" from tax hikes.
