See how the Variable " Time" Shapes Capital....anyone claiming that this is not the prevailing meme, counterprogramming all others, is just not very good at observation..... Remember that the Bakken as an economics lesson, is showing how Private Capital overcomes inertia in government programs and policy...most .all of whats described below is happening on Private Land, by private individuals....while all the energy pogroms promoted and led by the largesse of agencies....have met near fatal conclusions, as bandwidth for efficiency....cant be bought around a table of public largesse, by folks desirous of jaw boning themselves too increased status and wealth.. while public programs created a few wealthy, now mostly in hiding, they have certainly left a trail of unemployed...The Bakken & Eagle Ford on the other have created a dynamic felt around the world, millionairs being created daily, as royalty checks buy second and third homes in FL and AZ, RV's and cars, stores and $ for R&D .....and production of equipment and marshalled material.... to support wage earners, the companies are here because the action is real...not contrived.

this is real economy in action......not the fake attempts we see from the public sector...

Williston, Minot Set New Permitting Records
First, Williston:
From KXNews television.
The Williston Herald reports that through October, 938 permits had been issued with a total value of $406 million. That broke last year's record of 929 permits totaling nearly $358 million.
Only $44 million worth of building permits were issued in Williston in 2009. That was more than doubled to $106 million in 2010.
2012 (through October): $406 million
2011 (full year): $358 million
2010 (full year): $106 million
2009 (full year): $44 million

I doubt this includes the permits for the newly announced " The Ridge at Harvest Hills."
Now, Minot:
From KXNews television.
With two months left in the year, building permits have already shattered the record set last year in the city of Minot.

The dollar figure is massive -- in fact, in October of this year alone, about 65 million dollars worth of projects were given permits.

In the entire year of 2009 the dollar figure was about 66 million.
2012 (through October): $279 million
2011 (full year): $204 million
2009 (full year): $66 million
I find the 2009 figures for Minot and Williston interesting (comparing the two).
