well there is still room for optimism despite the recent election of a fascist as US president and despite this country (as well as most of the world) having down everything wrong fiscally speaking Technology will save us. Just one example is this 3d Printer I just came accross Subject 58943 Another example is how a guy can be standing out there in the middle of Africa and have access to more information at his fingertips than the president of the USA did just 15 years ago.
