Even so, do you really want some government clerk passing judgement on whether you should live or die? Is that really the best we can do?
Are you implying it will be illegal to buy private insurance to give me what the government doesn't cover or just use my savings to pay an MD?

It seems the option for those who have not saved or paid for private insurance is no different with a negative "death panel outcome" than someone who elected to not have any insurance at all.
