In my experience when you see relentless selling like this it's often a rumor that is floating around. Might be "Apple is having terrible manufacturing problems and they're going to have a huge miss on Q earnings". When the rumor is proven right, or wrong, doesn't matter which, the stock rebounds. Even when the rumor is correct, a rumor always "feels" worse than the reality. Not saying that's the case here, but could be.
