Thanks, Craig, I read your postings. Question: are you basically a trader in the stock--as opposed to a "true believer?"
I generally buy companies to hold, not trade. And have not been too successful a trader, because if I buy to trade the dips get to me. If I buy to hold, I don't care. (Apparently there was some article in Worth calling this a $20 stock. So I have to decide if I dare wait for the low 30s.)
The posters on the other QCOM thread are very passionate about CDMA and QCOM (I think--although there is a lot of--enjoyable--purple prose). Still, everyone is quite knowledgeable and the techies seem to love this technology. Ramsey Su suggested to me that main street is just not hip to it yet on an earnings story. The WSJ article seemed to suggest that there was the possibility this company could go down--with its heavy-duty partners that seems unlikely.
What are your thoughts? I take it you live in San Diego?
