Cisco to Acquire Cloud Network Company Meraki for $1.2 Billion By Theo Mullen - Nov 18, 2012 6:58 PM ET Cisco Inc. (CSCO) agreed to pay $1.2 billion in cash and other incentives for closely held Meraki Inc. to expand its cloud-based network offerings to new markets. The cloud-networking company is based in San Francisco and has offices in New York, London and Mexico, Cisco said today in a statement.
