Petraeus did not say the president lied. He did say that the CIA suspected terrorism and that got later removed. That does not mean Obama ordered that to happen.

What would have been the advantage to Obama to cover up a terrorist action? You know, normal people, i.e. non-Republicans, don't lie if there is not benefit. So what would lying have gained him?
