Steve,

Following synopsis from the Conference agenda looks very interesting and all the more to affirm that RNTK's technology is on the right track.. :-)

"Fischer-Tropsch Gas-to-Liquids Conversion

No other technology of late has captured the attention of the international energy industry more than Fischer-Tropsch gas-to-liquids conversion. If this technology is to be competitive with $17-$20 per-barrel crude oil, as proponents claim, opportunities for widespread expansion are immense. For example, the world consumed more than 23 million barrels of middle distillates per day
in 1996 ..........

The conference will also include a field tour of the highly unique
DOE Liquid-Phase Reactor (Gas-to-Liquids) Test Facility in LaPorte (just east of Houston). Participants will see this Air Products-operated facility that is equipped with slurry Reactors to test a range of syngas blends for the scale-up and commercialization of gas-to-liquids processes...
"

I remember reading somewhare that RNTK uses Slurry Reactors in their process. However I am curious to know why there is no mention of participants seeing one of RNTK's pilot plants, if one such is still in use.
