I need an explananation re Block Trades:

Earlier today, a 100,000 share block went off
at 24 1/4. That was the then current bid. I
had thought it meant that that was a sale of
this block to an MM.

However, immediately after the trx, started to
trade at 24 1/2. Why would that be?
