Something like getting a court order ensuring that whoever buys the Hostess brands must employ the same union workers at the same factories?

I don't know. Bankruptcy courts have a lot of power but that seems like it would be pursuing the interests of the unions to the detriment of the company.

The court is definitely trying to get them to come to terms, and from his comments, he doesn't seem to impressed with the unions' decision:

"Many people, myself included, have serious questions as to the logic behind this strike," said Judge Drain.
